We are in the beginning of October and the start of the Autumn season!
Fall on the farm means grain harvest, and grain harvest means early mornings and late nights. This time of year has its challenges but the satisfaction of finishing the last field at the end of the season is priceless!
Thanksgiving is fast approaching, so be prepared and order your thanksgiving turkey! They are pasture-raised and will be the best quality you will find.
For Thanksgiving turkeys, we ask of you 2 things:
- 1. If you would like to have our Turkey on your table reserve one now. Message us through Facebook Messenger to reserve!
- 2. Please send a deposit of $25.00 to Venmo: @rusmenfarms or by dropping off deposit at the farm in a marked envelope i.e.- Turkey & your name
Our Fall-decor season has officially ended, as we sold out of all mums and pumpkins on October 1st! We are so happy to have been able to provide another year of beautiful fall decorations. Thank you all who shopped, enjoy the beautiful mums and pumpkins!
Do not forget that we are partnered with Busy B Bakery. When you order baked good from Busy B, you can choose to pick up in our Harvest Hut! Inside the Harvest Hut we also carry Miller Farms Maple Syrup & Honey. We are now carrying Bank Barn Candles inside the Harvest Hut! They offer candles, as well as wax melts. They smell wonderful! |

We are also excited to announce that Elaina Newcome, Mendy’s youngest daughter has joined the Rus-Men Farms team full-time! She will be assisting Mendy with orders, stocking store locations, and social media management.
As we continue to work with our local communities to build the local food system and provide accessible high quality food, we want to thank you for your continued support. We could not be what we are today without all of you! Food security is needed now more than ever, so let’s keep working toward this goal.
We are excited to see what the new season brings, and don’t forget to reserve your beef or hog for this winter!
