(Almost) Spring Things!

March has come and gone, I barely made my deadline for this newsletter!
This time of year is always a whirlwind. Spring is fast approaching and we are trying to be as prepared as possible on the farm!
It’s still cold, but the sun is shining warmer and birds are singing loudly.
Mendy & I have our plants started for our personal gardens, and they are growing very well! We are counting down the days to transplant. At this rate, it will be here before we know it.
Our business is increasing and we are trying to prepare for our busy season. We are even prepping to raise our next batch of thanksgiving turkeys!
Planting season is on the horizon for the guys, and they are doing the necessary maintenance and prep work on the machinery and tools. We have a tractor that is in the repair shop as we speak!
With Easter fast approaching, make sure to get your Easter Ham from us! We are offering Easter Hams now! They are 6-9 lbs, and $4.25/lbs. Message, text, or call us to place your order.
We will be attending Third Fridays in Galion this year. We will be grilling out burgers, brats and hotdogs! The dates are May 19th, June 16th, July 21st, Aug 18th, Sept 15th. Mark your calendars and bring your appetite!
At the beginning of the month, we set up a booth at the Event/Wedding Expo at The Hub in Crestline, OH. It was a great event and we gained a lot of connections! We loved getting to show our faces in the community and sharing our knowledge of premium proteins and foods.
Let’s hope I can get April’s newsletter out a few days sooner than I did March’s! Thanks for reading and supporting our family farm.
